Auschwitz Concentration Camp is probably the most shocking remnants and a 100% proof of the Nazis World War II crimes. It paints a clear picture of Nazi regime and conditions in which millions of Jews were kept until boarded the train with unknown destination. “Arbeit Macht Frei” (Work makes you free) entry emblem – since 1979 has its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The camp played a major part in the German Master Plan of Jews extermination and even after almost 75 years leaves even the less compassionate tense and anxious with a strong feel of injustice. The feeling you get leaving a place which served the despicable purpose it did at the time is indescribable. Although one of the most unpleasant – a must-have experience and a must-visit when in Krakow, Poland.

Our English speaking driver will pick you up from the hotel or any given address and he will take you to Auschwitz camp first. The driver will show you everything and he will be waiting for you at car park (Auschwitz-Birkenau tour takes about 6 hours but it’s your private tour and you can spend there as much time as you wish. Whether you decide to leave early or stay longer) and after all will take you straight back to your Hotel in Krakow or any other destination of our choice (of course after visiting Birkenau – second camp). We recommend to leave Krakow somewhere between 8.00 and 12.00 to make the whole tour manageable and to give you enough time to go through this historic place, but we are flexible as the afternoon Tours are also avaliable.

Guided Group: A good option for smaller parties (up to 5 people) due to affordable ticket cost. If you prefer to listen to the guide instead of individual reading info from plaques and guide book it would be a good option for you. If reading Polish, English or Hebrew language is not your strong point it’s also better to join a guided tour which is available in many languages. A disadvantage of this option is lack of flexibility and being a part of larger group. Guided tour in Auschwitz-Birkenau in any available foreign language costs additional 40 PLN/10 Euros per person. Individual Tour: In my opinion this is the most appropriate way of sightseeing Auswitch. For Polish/English/Hebrew language reading people is extremely informative as well. This option offers total flexibility. You also don’t pay any entry fees (if you leave Krakow before 8:30 am or after 1:00 pm the entrancees is free). Disadvantage is smaller choice of pick up times during high season and no access to the watch tower at Birkenau. So if You decide to walk on your own in the Camps (Auschwitz-Birkenau) our private tour price will be your final price.

Private Guide: If your party is consisted from 6 and more people it’s cheaper and more convenient to hire private guide. This option offers more flexibility and personal contact with your guide. The problem is availability during high season. If you book a tour just few days before its date I don’t quarantee it will be possible. Sometimes it’s necessary to depart extremely early in the morning or late afternoon.

Please notice that our service DOES not include guided tour when in the museum. It is possible to sightsee Auschwitz without a guide before 10:00am or after 03:00 pm. We recommend it for people who would rather spend more time on reading the information out of the camp book or information areas located throughout the site.
